Tzana and Mason's Wedding

On October 5th, I made my way up to Johnsville, CA to stay for the weekend and shoot a wedding. Johnsville is a cool little town and is VERY small, but a perfect place for a wedding. Tzana and Mason were extremely nice and the hospitality was amazing at their cute cabin. I've known Tzana for what seems like my entire life, and all of her kids as well. We go way back!

It snowed a lot the first night there. Here is a photo I took of the cabin on Friday morning:


The night before the wedding, I went with the guys to stay at a campground in a trailer while the girls stayed in the nice warm cabin. However there was no heat in the trailer so we all had to survive in the 26 degree temperature. Luckily we had a fire to keep us warm. I must have been warm all night because I slept through it without waking up once. Getting up and having to use the restroom outside at night in 20 degree temperature is the worst!

There was a lot of preparation to do before the ceremony since the wedding took place in the backyard, so we all kept very busy! :)
We were lucky to have a beautiful wedding day unlike the snowy day before. Here are a few images of Tzana and Mason:

When I tell people who've seen the movie 300 that I haven't seen it, there responses are all similar--"WHAT?! You haven't seen it?! You HAVE to see it!" Or somewhere along those lines.

I know I've been behind the times, but I finally got to watch it.

WOW! Talk about having honor for your country! The movie 300 rocked...If you haven't seen it, you definitely should check it out. It is gory so if you don't like those kinds of movies...you should still watch it! :)

Jones Soda

In case you don't know what Jones Soda is, they're a beverage company who prints photos on the labels. In order to get your photo on the label, you have to submit your photo and then people vote on the photo. (Or at least that's how I think it works, ha)

I've always wanted one of my photos to make it on a label. I just think that would be too cool. Walk into a wal-mart or target and see your photo on the bottle :)

Anyway, I finally uploaded a photo from Jessica and Eric's wedding I thought would be a cool label for Jones.

Jenn and Brian

Rose and I had so much fun working with Jenn and Brian. They love love love wine so we went to Napa (wine country!) to shoot their engagement session. We stopped at 2 wineries, ate at a resturant in downtown Napa, and then walked around Napa after to capture some cool night shots! Here's a couple of images out of the many we took that day :)

Anna and Owen Wedding

On 09.08.07 (kind of a cool date) Rose and I shot Anna and Owen's wedding. Everyone there was so nice and it was an honor to be a part of their special day.
The reception was REALLY cool because Owen used to be in a band some time ago and all of his former band mates were there. They sang and sounded incredible! If I didn't have a camera I would have recorded it to show you how awesome they sounded. You can check out pics of the guys singing and the rest of the wedding day *here*
