Kalyn + Tim

Rose couldn't have said it any better so I hope she doesn't mind me stealing this entry. :)

It's been awhile since we've done one of these but I had to start out this post with a self portrait. We especially like this one because it shows all the gear we're lugging around while working a wedding.

Ryan and I drove down to Dana Point for Kalyn and Tim's wedding. Of course the weather in OC was perfect.

Portraits of Tim and Kalyn at their hotel at Dana Point Harbor near the ceremony site.

The ceremony site with a stunning view of the harbor and southern coast.

Awww, first kiss as husband and wife.

What a good looking couple.

Fun bridal party shot.

So romantic.

Have to showcase those So Cal palm trees.

At the harbor.

What a sunset and a perfectly timed seagull flight.

First dance.

Dancing fun.

Of course, a little line dancing.

Toasting.

Last, but not least, the rings with some yummy favors.

National Anthem at the Sacramento Monarchs

After Rose and DJ's wedding it was off to San Diego to catch my flight to Sacramento to sing the National Anthem for the Monarchs. As promised, here is the video.

Rose + DJ's Wedding

It was a beautiful sunrise in Arizona on the day Rose and DJ were married. The photo above doesn't give justice to what it felt like in person. I'm not a morning person but it was such an honor to watch Rose marry the man she loves. When I'm with them both, you can just tell that it's a perfect fit. The wedding was a small and intimate ceremony of 12 people. The wedding chapel was incredibly cute and everything went very well. I was sad I had to miss the reception but was glad to have been there for the ceremony. Before the ceremony, Rose and DJ did a "first look." Here we have DJ's daughter, Bailey, getting ready to open the door for Rose.

The ceremony was filled with happy emotions

And then sealed with a kiss

Details details!

Cool shots of Rose and DJ

And finally the Rings

Rose and DJ thank you for letting me be a part of your special day. It was an honor. :) All the best for what the future holds!

The Koogler Family...

...well almost! :) The day before Rose and DJ's wedding, we went out and shot a family session in the desert of Yuma, Arizona. I've never shot anything in the desert before and I was so thankful for the scenery. I know that may sound silly because it's desert but it makes for awesome photos! Check em out:

Tawnya + Nathan

Simply put, Tawnya and Nathan were made for each other. I don't know what it is but when you see them together you can actually feel the love in the air. I know it sounds corny but it's true. My eyes were even watering when Tawnya came out of the beautiful house and walked down the path to her very happy soon to be hubby. But before that moment occurred, the ladies were helping Tawnya get ready...

Stunning!

A special request made by Tawnya, which turned out pretty rad

Sweet shots of the bride and groom...

Ring shot!

The clouds really helped the ambiance of the reception

Everyone was on the dance floor having a good time!

Congrats Tawnya and Nathan, Rose and I wish you a happy and healthy future! :)
